True Friendship Skit:

Person 1 ~ Person 2
It was dark, to dark.
She was alone.
She was afraid.
They never came.
Never showed.
She wasn't surprised.
This wasn't the first.
Her so called friends rarely ever kept their promises.
She would wait hours for them.
She continued to hope.
Continued to pray.
Continued to believe.
But they kept smashing her dreams.
Along with her.
They were the only ones who didn't treat her like a nobody.
They pretended to treat her like a genus.
But in reality?
They were just using her.
She did their homework.
She thought everybody did that.
As time passed she lost sight of the real meaning of friendship.
Why?
How?
Was she to concerned about not having any friends?
Or did she actually enjoy being used?
She was blinded by her worries.
She lost all sight of why she wanted friends.
She forgot about her true felings.
Or maybe never really knew.
No. The answer to her problem was the people she chose to call friends.
She looked for all the wrong qualities.
Out ward beauty.
Popularity.
Connections.
None of are important in friendship.
Then what should we look for?
Reliability.
Trustfulness.
Loving.
Inner beauty.
And last but not least.
Christianity.
The Bible says Jesus is our best friend.
All we have to do is remember t
He was alone.
hat.
If we do we'll never truly be alone.
It was dark. Too dark.
He was alone.
He was afraid.
Memories:
As the years go by and the seasons change,
we miss certain people and we miss certain things.
Whether it's a person, a thing, a place, or an it,
if it's important to us then it's going to stick.
Some memories fade while others prolong,
some are bad and some like a song.
If we really try to make memories grow,
we might remember things like our very first snow.
If I only want to see good memories about me,
then I'll never understand the memories that come free.
We need to remember that not last,
we need to look ahead and not linger in the past.
Some build us up and others tear us down,
but if you ever want another, grab a friend and look around.
